ENLARGE MARSH CREEK STATE PARK PETITION

The petition reads:

“Yes, I support expanding Marsh Creek Park by adding hundreds of acres of fields and woods.  The proposed addition abuts Marsh Creek Park’s northwest corner, Brandywine Creek and Chalfant Rd, and straddles Marshall Rd..  Expanding Marsh Creek Park will enhance quality of life in Chester County and southeast Pennsylvania by protecting open space, Brandywine Creek watershed, aquifers, wildlife habitat and other resources.  Quality of life will also be enhanced by improving public access to the park, Struble Trail and Brandywine Creek for family walks, horseback riding, biking, bird watching, fishing and other recreational activities.  I urge township, county, state & federal officials to allocate funds and to take other measures to enlarge the park.”
